The Huffadh Development Programme seeks to cultivate a new generation of Huffadh distinguished not only by exemplary Qur'anic memorisation but also by a strong grasp of theoretical and practical aspects of Tajwid, excellency in recitation, and engagement with the wider sciences of the Qur'an. By integrating classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary pedagogical methods, the programme seeks to advance the intellectual and spiritual calibre of our Huffadh, equipping them to serve the Qur'an with authority and integrity through teaching, imamah, and community leadership.

Programme Tracks: THEORY | PRACTICE | IJAZAH

• Theory and Practice: Group sessions studying Shaykh Ayman Suwayd’s Illustrated Tajwid in clear English with application practice, alongside memorisation of the Jazariyyah text. Suitable for all Huffadh.

• Ijazah: For those Huffadh with strong memorisation, theory, and application. Recite a full 1-to-1 khatmah in the narration of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim (via Shatibiyyah) with mastery to earn an Ijazah connecting us through multiple uninterrupted chains of transmission back to the Prophet ﷺ and ultimately to Allah. Students may then progress to study other readings within the 10 Qira’at on-site or with local/global senior teachers via referral.

Location: On-Site at MCWAS (Flexible Timings)

Pre-condition: This programme is tailored specifically for Huffadh (those who have completed Qur’an memorisation). Keep an eye out for future MCWAS updates on programmes for those aspiring to memorise.
