Role Summary:

Following on from the success of last year, we are seeking passionate, organised and committed individuals to take on the role of Lead Volunteers for this year’s MCWAS Eid in the Park celebration. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a key community event, supporting its smooth delivery and helping create a memorable experience for attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee event logistics from planning through to execution

  • Coordinate marketing, communications, and promotion activities

  • Lead set-up and pack-down operations

  • Manage equipment, suppliers and community partners

  • Organise and support a team of volunteers

  • Supervise parking, entertainment and security

  • Ensure health & safety, risk assessment and compliance requirements are met

  • Act as the key point of contact on the event day

Ideal Person:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • Confident communicator and team player

  • Able to commit time to planning and coordination activities

  • Passionate about community events and bringing people together
