Join us for an unforgettable two-night/three-day residential retreat designed to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of Muslim leaders.

Organised by the Muslim Cultural & Welfare Association of Sutton (MCWAS) and Sutton Muslim Youth, this retreat combines Islamic learning, outdoor adventure, brotherhood, and personal development in a beautiful woodland setting. It is a unique opportunity for young Muslims to strengthen their faith, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.

About the Retreat

This year's theme is Young Giants: The Youth That Changed History

Throughout the retreat, participants will learn about remarkable young Muslims who made a lasting impact on history through their faith, courage, character, and leadership. Through inspiring talks, workshops, and discussions, attendees will explore how they too can strive to become positive role models and future leaders within their communities.

The retreat is designed to nurture faith, confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a deeper connection with Allah while providing an exciting and enjoyable experience with fellow Muslim youth.

The retreat fee includes:

Accommodation

Participants will stay on-site at Scout Adventures – Gilwell Park for the duration of the retreat.

This residential experience allows attendees to fully participate in all activities, build friendships, and develop independence within a safe and supervised environment.

Transport & Arrival Information

Parents and guardians are responsible for arranging transport to and from the retreat venue.

Pick-Up: Thursday 27th August 2026 Collection Time: 1:00 PM

Parents should ensure participants arrive promptly for registration and the opening programme. Families are welcome to organise car-pooling arrangements among themselves where possible. This can help make travel more convenient and reduce transport costs for participants travelling from the same area. Please note that all transport arrangements remain the responsibility of parents and guardians.

Safety & Supervision

The wellbeing and safety of all participants is our highest priority.

The retreat will be supervised by experienced organisers, volunteers, mentors, and group leaders who will ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience throughout the event.

Cost

£100 Per Person

The retreat fee includes accommodation, activities, educational sessions, and meals.

Transport to and from the venue is not included.
